AMD Raedon HD 6770M Overheating

Hi Guys,

I have HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC with
i7 2670QM CPU @ 2.2GHz
12 GB RAM
Dual GPUs (Intel HD & AMD Raedon HD 6770M 2GB Memory)

I observed overheating of laptop while playing games or rendering videos.
I used MSI Afterburner to get the readings and it says 97C while playing Portal game

Average temp on idle condition is
70-80C

temp while playing game
95-105C

I googled about the normal and max safe temp and experts says it should stay below 85C at all.

I seek help to solve this issue from the experts, please help me to cool down my GPU

Vents are clear when I use my notebook, I use a thick cardboard piece to place laptop on it (even in my lap).
I can hear the fan spinning clearly and the difference in speed change is also easily noticeable when play a game.
