I just ordered 2 single bay hot swap racks here is the link
http://kingwin.com/products/cate/mobile/racks/kf_1000_b...

It says it fits standard 1" drives. I am unsure of the thickness of the 3tb wd drives. I know the 2tb fits for sure but unsure on the 3tb.

Please shed some light.

The physical dimensions of a 3.5" HDD remains the same regardless of capacity. The HDD should fit in there no problem.

It would seem WD isn't giving out that information, I found nothing on their pages that would even isolate it down to a few models - I'd be interested to know (I'm gonna guess blue since you already took green). I have no clue though.
