Hi there,

I'm not sure how much people will know as this isn't really a hardware specific question, but I'd really appreciate any advice if anyone has any to give.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131240429375?_trksid=p2055119...

This seller has listed the motherboard as 'Used' in the specifics and in the description they say 'Used but untested as we haven't had time to test. No returns.'

Ebay says used means:

An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.

If I were to buy it, and it were non functional, am I still covered by eBay's money back guarantee? Even though he says it's untested, he does not mention any reason why it wouldn't be functional, and if that were the case, he didn't choose for parts or not working as the condition.

So would I be able to return it?

'Used but untested as we haven't had time to test. No returns.'
---> Says no returns directly on the item's sale page.
You knowingly accepted an item that said No Returns, so simply put you may not return it after purchase.

So do you think it is worth the risk? The seller has sold loads of stuff as untested and he has 100% positive feedback with everyone happy with their items.
