LCD Monitor flashes after a while

My monitor is LG Flattron W2241T.

The monitor has started flashing uncontrollably after some time of usage.

At first it started after several hours of usage. Since I have a multi-monitor display I would turn this monitor off, and after a few hours I turn it back on and it is fine for a few more hours.

But now the 'flashing frequency' has become more often. After as little as 10 minutes the monitor will start flashing.

It doesn't seem to be a question of heat. Monitor never gets too warm in any part.

I have taken the monitor apart to look for the most easily resolved solution, the capacitors. All of them are (surprisingly) perfect looking. So now I'm at a loss what else to do. Please help! Thank you all for reading!

Solution
Could be a cold solder joint messing up the backlight inverter or just the backlight tubes being on their way out.

In my 20" Flatron, I had to change the caps around the four years old old mark. The backlight started fritzing about two years ago, which would be around the 8 years mark. Unlike your issue though, old tubes usually have a hard time lighting up but are mostly ok once warmed up, so that's why I suspect your issue is on the electronics side of things.

Um, what do you mean by 'electronic side of things'? You mean stuff to do with the PCB? I am not technically trained; I am just an amateur trying to make the best use of his monitor.
