So my monitors do not recognise anything being plugged into the other side of their cable. I hit the power switch on the PC. All the fans spin. I can feel the harddrive going. The green lights on the back of the GFX card are glowing. But neither screen recognises there being anything plugged into their cable. Also another thing. Holding the power button as long as you can will not force shut off the PC. I don't know where the issue lies...but I'm sure it's not the PSU, fans, or hard drive. The computer was running just fine for 6 months before this incident. So I doubt its anything like a cable or a temperature thing.I just want to know if its the card or something else.

More about : buy gfx card

It is probably the PSU. Can you give us specs for your build?

Hmm...Corsiar PSU's generally aren't the one's to fail. Do you have another PSu laying around that you could try?

Nope sorry. Only computer in the house. Everything spins and it seems like a normal start up. Just that the gfx card basically isn't seen as there. The two green lights on the back are on tho.

ok... So you have a speaker that can be used to here a post beep? If there's no post beep, then you've got some serious problems.

Possible mobo, CPU, or RAM issue. Probably Mobo, but is any of these things are faulty then it could cause a lack of post beep.

I do not see how a breadboard will help.

You can try it, but I have no experience with breadboards. This is only the 2nd time I have ever seen the word breadboard mentioned in all my time here a Tom's Hardware. Granted that is less than a year, but...

Took out everything. Breadboarding without ram or gfx card led to a beeeep bep bep bep pattern.

I found the BEEEEEP BEP BEP meant a problem with video output, such as a faulty video card, but no BEEEEP BEP BEP BEP.

Putting the ram in made a slight difference. Now it goes bip( like the normal startup beep) 1 long 3 short, short pause, 1 beep

Putting the GPU in results in only one short beep. Perfect.

Good to hear that everything's working fine now. Who knows? Maybe the RAM wasn't seated all the way in the computer or something.
