Hi everyone, I'm looking to replace my GTX 560 Ti with either a GTX 670 or a 760, but not a 770 because that's out of my price range. I have a monitor with only VGA input and I've tried using an active (one that uses power) VGA to HDMI adapter already on the monitor so that I could watch BLU-RAY's on it because they don't support VGA, but it makes content on the display blurry. Or does anyone know if converting VGA to DVI doesn't make it blurry?
Thanks everyone

Only lower end video cards have VGA on them now. I know foreign markets are still releasing monitors with VGA only, are you in the USA? I agree with AMD Radeon. If you only have VGA, you need a new monitor. More so if you are wanting to watch blu ray movies on it. You need a digital solution so you can support HDCP. (digital copy protection.) VGA doesn't support this and might have been the blurry problem. By using digital only you can support HDCP and not have issues. The GTX560TI isn't a horrible card, so I second the idea of a new monitor. (Even more so if you aren't using a 1920x1080 monitor.)

Thanks for your advice AMD RADEON, but I would like to get the graphics card first because the 560 Ti doesn't work as my cat peed on it LOL. Also I've tried to clean it with a electrical contact cleaner spray from Halfords but it didn't work.

And also I've got the ASUS VH228D and from looking at both of their specs, and it seems that there's not much difference between them. And @AMD RADEON isn't there microstuttering on some AMD cards?

MS can happen, but only with CF setups. I have a 7950 and because it's only a single card I have no issues. AMD did a driver fix and now you only get MS when in Eyefinity or DX9. As long as you are single screen, DX10+ or not in CF, you'll be fine.

It has DVI-I and D, so you should be good. I'm not sure which of the DVIs is which. Read the manual or just try it in one. If it fails, that's the DVI-I so just try the other one.

I'm not sure why it was blurry. Where you running the native res of your monitor? You might not need to buy the adapter, the card might come with one.
