CPU getting to hot

I got a ''Intel Core i5 3570k (Ivy Bridge)'' Processor
And i'm using the ''Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo'' cpu cooler (which was applied on 7-7-2014)

And it is getting hot according to ''Core Temp'' (can provide with screenshots)
i can feel the case getting hot around the area of where the processor is installed/placed

My core temperatures are normally between 50c - 65c when i'm browsing and watching stuff. and it rises up to 73c - 85c when I play certain games. It doesn't matter if I have it on very low graphics or very high. The temperature will stay roughly the same

Now my question is. is there anything I can do to fix it?

Edit 1: I've reapplied the thermal paste (having used the thermal paste that comes with the cpu cooler), and i'll update tomorrow on the new temperatures

Edit 2: none of my hardware is overclocked

Edit 3: after having core temp on for an entire day, the highest temp it reached was 81c with the rest being near the 76c. and that was after having applied a fresh batch of thermal paste. so any other solutions maybe that can help?

i've installed the cooler right (that i know because i used to have the same cooler on a diff mobo/case/processor

about the thermal paste. i could've applied to little (i'm not 100% sure on how many i am supposed to put on it

(the cpu cooler was purchased 2 week ago)

U put a small dab on the center of the cpu abt the size of an uncooked grain of rice then put the cooler on dont spread it around or anything the cooler will do that for u when u place it down.

It is hard to use too little paste.

If your temps at idle are more than 10-15c. over ambient then something is wrong.

The TX3 is not a great cooler; hardly better than stock.

What to do:
If your 3570K is overclocked, then back off a bit.
Take the case covers off. If your problem gets much better, look at case airflow solutions.

Are all the case fans running and in a consistent direction"
Front/low in to high/rear exhaust?

Was there a protective film on the cooler face that should have been removed?

Push pin mounts are tricky. Are all 4 pins through the motherboard and locked? There should be no wiggle on the cooler. The trick is to push down on diagonal pairs at the same time. If you do it in sequence, the cooler will not mount square.

that is what i have done. i have now reapplied the thermal paste but i used a bit more then previously. i went from a grain of rice to around the size of a pea (of course having removed the first one with paper)

I am not sure about the air flow. i have 4 fans in my computer.
#1 at the side panel. Near the bottom corner near the back of the pc
#2 at the back side all the way up. Which is also aiming at the cpu cooler fan
#3 at the front side all the way on the bottom.(like in most cases)
#4 one in the ''roof'' of my pc which is close to my cpu cooler fan & the fan at the back of my pc (#2) which is also at the back of the case

the push pins are done correctly. first pin #1 > #3 > #2 > #4 (if that makes sense)

The protective film on the cooler face has been removed (did that before i applied thermal paste on it)

Are these all the answers u had hoped for?
