PSU good enough for this rig?

yes it will be fine ....your card needs 40amp at 12+ volt and it has 45 amp at 12+ volt

This is my brothers current build. His PSU died and he needs a new one so i just wanted suggestion for a good PSU thats fully modular.

It depends on what you want to do. IMO, the XFX is a bit better because it has a single +12V rail while the SS has 2. It also has 2 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors while the SS has 1 6+2 and 1 6 pin.
