According to my PC Part Picker list (found here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hWLCFT), the BitFenix Merc Alpha only supports video cards of up to 270 mm without removing drive bays. My Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card is 14 mm longer, sitting at 284 mm, which may require the removal of drive bays from the case. My question is to those who have used the Merc Alpha and needed to remove th drive bays: what method did you use to do so? The included manual has no information regarding this removal. Furthermore, how would this removal effect how I would install my 3.5-inch HDD? Apologies if this has been asked before, and apologies for bad tags (can't edit on mobile Chrome).
