Hi, i just built my first computer and i have had it for about a month now. I have a ASUS DirectCU II OC R9290 graphics card in my pc ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121842 ). The card has been running around 200 degrees Fahrenheit or 90 degrees Celsius under intense gaming sessions, and i'm just wondering if this is normal. In the reviews for the card it seems like everyone has this problem but i just want to make sure this wont rune my graphics card. If there is any recommendations you have to get it cooled a little it would be highly appreciated, i have the nzxt phantom 410 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146086&cm_re=nzxt_phantom_410-_-11-146-086-_-Product ) and i have not added any fans. Please help i really want to run graphics on max but i don't want to break my graphics card.

AMD said that the R9 290 can run at 95 Celsius and the stock cooler one does

and your running yours at 90 your fine but i dont know what the normal ASUS DirectCU II runs at and if that is normal for the ASUS one

The R9 290 can run well even on 95 degrees. As for the DCUII. Make sure you download MSI Afterburner and configure your fans. I've got mine configured to run 50% if my card goes up to 50 degrees and 60% if it goes up to 60 degrees and so on. Aftermarket coolers are supposed to make the temps better.
