Get MSI's gtx 780ti Gaming model. This is by far the most quiet of them all. i know this from experience as i had this exact fan model back on my old 680 lightning from MSI. It will not dissapoint. Though if you are not partial to MSI, any EVGA with their ACX cooling will be excellent as well as their customer support.

I would agree with that assessment (although I find it funny/ironic that someone with a 7990 is recommending a video card for its quiet fans). The MSI Gaming Edition is the highest rated GTX 780 Ti at TechPowerUp.

You need to purchase based on what type of watercoolers there are available. Generally, you're looking at a reference model for best watercooling compatibility. So if you can find a watercooler designed for an aftermarket GTX 780 Ti, then get that one and pair it up with that cooler. Unfortunately, the EVGA Superclocked card is going to come with a reference PCB and components.
