I just finished building my new pc, and got no response when turning it on.

I have read the forum FAQ, and nothing in it solved the issue. So far I have:

Removed the RAM, tried two different sticks in all slots.
Added a video card, connected it up,, didn't work.
Unplugged everything but the CPU, CPU Cooler, Memory, and SSD. Still nothing.
Switched the multi-BIOS switch over, no difference.

The POST code it keeps returning is 00.

Any ideas would be appreciated .

Found the issue. The motherboard was Series 8, and had not had the BIOS update for the haswell refresh. Bought a cheap haswell cpu, booted up no problem. Updated the BIOS, swapped back to my i5-4690, and it worked perfectly.

Swapped memoery, SSD and power supply back into the old computer, and memory and CPU red lights started flashing. I replaced to power supply, and still no display.

At this point, I have no idea what the issue is, and am considering returning everything to see if there is a defective component.
