Hi, I was wondering, is there a way to make my games run on my gpu instead of my cpu? I ask this because I get some lag even though I beat the recommended requirements for most games I play. My friend said you can make games run on your gpu but he said he only knows how to do it for nvidia cards.

Solution
Try lowering the resolution the r7 250 isn't going to play many games @ 1080p. It's an entry level card and just doesn't have the power to driver most games at that resolution.

Some examples of games that beat recommended are, The Forest, DayZ, Arma 3, Arma 2. My Specs are
GPU: Sapphire Radeon r7 250 2gb
CPU: AMD A8-5600K APU
RAM: HyperX Blu 4gb

The Forest is still in alpha(early access game) and has no recommended or minimum specs available, and games in alpha and beta usually have performance issues. Dayz is also still in alpha. In Arma 3 and Dayz your CPU is going to hold you back as they are fairly cpu dependent(and still rather buggy). Also the r7 250 does not meet the recommend settings for dayz or arma 3 the 7750(recommended AMD card) is actually a bit faster than the r7 250. The cpu is about the same as the x4 940 but both are quite a bit slower than the i5 2300.
What resolution are you trying to run? Is the monitor plugged into the video card or the motherboard?
