Hi, just installed my new video card (for the HDMI) and the Nyrius wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver. I am getting Picture on the TV but no sound.

I have an 8 year old Dell Inspirion 9150 with Windows XP

When I go into Audio in Control Panel in Windows XP all I get is the Delta1010LT channels. NO HDMI or mention of the Radeon Card.

Am I getting some sort of a conflict between XP/Delta and the new video card? Help!

You could try another port (VGA, DVI, etc.) and connect some speakers for the sound.

I really need the sound to come out through HDMI to the wireless receiver. That is the reason I bought it... so i wouldn't have cables running through the house.

I have the computer off to the side and it's connected to the mixer but it's annoying to have the sound come off the side instead in the front where I'm watching the movie...:\

It's a wireless receiver, so doesn't have cables... the only cable i have is HDMI from receiver to TV, the transmitter is plugged into the video card.

The computer itself does not show any options for choosing the video card/HDMI etc... to send to the receiver. When I go to Sounds and Audio Devices all I see is the Delta101LT

Well, the cable from the receiver to the TV?

How would that matter if the computer is not even seeing the video card as a sound option?

The AMD web site says to go to Sounds and Audio devices and to select the HDMI... it does not exist in my Sounds and Audio devices. I know that is the problem, I just don't know how to fix it.

Support for XP ended in about April, I think. You could try upgrading to Windows 7...
