What (WD-1TB HDD) should i get?

Ok so i wish to order a 1TB HDD today, by the brand of WD no other and i have noticed that they make WD Blue, Red, Black, Green, and every other color of the rainbow. Does Western Digital support gay marriage now or something, what are the difference between these HDD`s? I want to get the best possible 1TB HDD for under $80.

it really depends on you are using it for. if you are using it in a desktop that you use to watch youtube videos and make spreadsheets on, than get the blue(which is basically the base model). the green produces the least heat and uses the least energy but is quiet slow. If you are going to use it in raid, in a nas or in a server get the red drive(they are nas drives) however they are quiet expensive. The black drives are high performance drives and pretty much the opposite of the green drives and. then there are the only non colourful WD drives, the Raptor drives which are ultra fast, and basically cheaper(but still very expensive) solid state drive alternatives. I personally prefer seagate though. by the way, don't start a post with...
