When I oc the cpu to 4.5 do you think I would have to mess with the voltage at all?

And the Gpu to 1100mhz any voltage changing?

Also is it better to be unganged mode or ganged for gaming?

Also since I got the evo 212 fan should I use like permanent fan speed on all the way and cpu power all the time or turn it on and off depending on a game or not?

Please please please let me know exactly what to do with Ocing this cpu and this build type.

I remember unganged mode is better for gaming I think? idk im trying to planet side 2 without any lag at all ever.

I know I gotta set the ram in the bios to 2133.... ummm what else am I missing.

If anyone can show me a guide on OCing the CPU to 4.5 safely in laymens terms that owuld be great or someone who can show me step by step.

Same with the graphics card.

Goal 4.5 safely and 1100 Mhz on gpu.

Thanks again

http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/71265-intel-core-i5-4... heres something I read

But I dont know if I gotta have the CPU to ALWAYS on 4.5 or not? like turbo or whatever? and what about quiet fan cooling settings in bios?

IDK I really want someone to know what to OC safely with this build with volts and all in the bios. And knowing about unganged and ganged modes..... PLEASE PLEASE HELP:!!!!

per my PM -

Don't OC anything till you know exactly what you're doing eg http://www.anandtech.com/show/8227/devils-canyon-review...

I've no idea what ganged and unganged mode is.

The fan plugs into your motherboard. You can use the motherboard's bios or UEFI to set the cpu fan speed dependent on the cpu temp.

Not every 4690k is the same, so you won't know until you try it. Essentially you set the multiplier to 45, run a program to load your CPU. Prime95 is popular. I use LinX. Monitor your temps using CPU-Z. If your computer crashes or freezes, increase the voltage one level and repeat until stable.
