Need help with native screen resolution

Okay this is driving me nuts i have a 32 in samsung tv as my monitor connected through hdmi but the resolution is 1366x768 and everything on my desktop look big and i hate I had it at 1290x1080 with 60hertz it looked perfect but i saw somewhere it will ruin my tv what can i do to at least get a decent resolution with desktop space because native resolution not cutting it out also when i had it in 1920x1080 my games would lag alot i also odered hd 7850 will let me be able to have my resolution at 1920x1080 help me im new so i dont know much

what is the native resolution of the tv? what does the specs in the manual say?

Native resolution is 1366x768

No. Sometimes, some tv's don't work properly if they aren't run at native resolution.
