if you really want help it would be a good start to post your ips advertised speeds so we can get an idea of the quality of your internet connection.is 1.47MB/s your download speed?if so its not bad,but we still have to know about your connection.

Aldan its not the download speed im on a 4mbps Reliance broadband connection, im talking about the local transfer rate im sending files over router from laptop/mobile/PC to laptop/mobile/PC tried all the combinations i still can get more than 1.47MB/s
i want to know is there any setting which limits the transfer rate?

you want me to post IP address? but i read that its not allowed.

Aldan try to understand me i brought this router, and i had a replacement of it already same speed you know we go in my networks and go enter username and pass then we can copy shared user files from devices on homegroup?? im doing that and only getting 1.47MB/s instead of 18.6MB/s i dont want 18.6 im happpy with even 5MB/s but 1.47MB/s is too low there is no need to ISP to come here, ISP has nothing to do with it.
