Hello i am building a pc, and i was wondering how do i connect 11 fans onto this motherboard. There are only 3 fan pins i can connect to to the motherboard, and im wondering how can i connect more on it. I heard that there are wires i can use to connect more? im not sure. If u can please link me wires that would workout 11 fans THANK YOU.
My fans im using 11x http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Series-Edition-Single-CO-...

You can use a split header, like 1 fan header than can connect to 3 fans, but that's only for 3 pin fans, if you have that many fans, have you considered connecting it to your PSU?

Yes the fans im using are 3 pins, so are there any split header u can recommend me? and i dont want it to connect to psu because i want to control the speeds. Thank you

Don't know how to break this to you but you cannot control the speeds on 3 pin fans :)  You can only control the speed of 4 pin fans and I can't recommend any as I don't use them but just search on google 1 to 3 fan header 3 pin or something like that :)

Connect as many as you can on the motherboard, the get 3 pin to molex connectors for the rest of the fans and connect it to the psu, and they will all run at full speed

will the fans connected the the mobo run just as fast as the ones connected to the psu? or will they be different speeds

All will be full speed, so if you have the same fans for all, then they will all run at the same speed

dont u think running 7 fans PLUS another 4 from my push pull h100i be a little dangerous? i got 750w psu will that be fine?

Dangerous how? I mean as long as you don't connect too many fans to the motherboard, ( Like what I mentioned before? with the 1 to 3 3 pin headers? Don't do that, it'll overload the motherboard) 750W can handle it and as long as you have it all connected I see no dangers

OKay thank you, do u think i would be able to control the speed of all 7 pin fans with this

You would need to get 4 pin fans to be able to use fan controllers :)

OOps had to update this cause I think you can :)  It says that it can't use pwm fans so I'd assume that it can control 3 pin fans :)

If you look at the 5 unanswered questions on the product, someone specifies that all are 3-pin

Then again, you have like 11 fans? And this fan controller can only control 5 with this, but I think the h100i has it's own fan management system

If you plan on running all the fans at highest then there is no need but with 11 fans, it could get very loud, so I'd get all the fans, connect it to the motherboard/PSU , spend a week on the PC doing whatever you planned on doing as see if the noise is bearable or not, if it is really loud, then get fan controllers :)

What if i just connected all my fans to my psu? all 7 fans is that a good idea? is it too much power for my 750w

It'll be fine as long as you connect it properly, check your fans' voltage first doe

It means that the fan at full speed will take 12V, so 7 x 12 = 84 V and add in the rest of the 4 fans' volatge

BAM http://www.amazon.com/Phobya-4-Pin-3-Pin-Splitter-Conne... how about that to connect my 3-pin fans form a 4-pin molex cable

Yeah that should do fine :)  But I'd just out a few on, in case they overload the actual adapter itself

yeah i was thinking of getting 2 of those, and then splitting 4 on 1 adapter, then other 3 on the second molex cable since my psu has 4 molex cables

and another question, connecting the 7 fans to that 4-Pin to 6 x 3-Pin Fan Splitter will ramp up all my fans to the HIGHEST speed?

Remember when we were talking about the volts of the fans like all 7 fans will take 84 V plugged into the psu, will there be anything on my pc that might take some volts too? i got a i7-4770k, gtx 780 sc, 16gb ram. Or i dont need to worry about it

Yes you do :)  All components require power, but if you have a 750W power supply, there is little to worry about, there will be sufficient power

At the end of each fan there is the 3 pin connector, plug the 3 pin to your 6x3 pin molex cable and plug the cable into the psu
