gaming with amd fx 6300

Can amd fx 6300 handle my gtx 760 .....its purpose is for gaming.......but i heard that i5 is better but i am not having a budget for i5 .......i need to know difference between i5+760 and amd+760.......are they equal in gaming performance or is there a huge difference.........will i get full performance of my gpu when using with 6300..........

The 6300 is more than capable of handling the 760.It has a unlocked multiplier making it easy to overclock.In certain games the i5 will pull ahead because the single threaded performance of Intel processors in general is better than AMD FX.Note that since AMD CPUs have been used in the next gen consoles hence games have started to become multi threaded lately (case in point=fx 8350 is matching the i7 4770 and beating it in Battlefield 4).The 6300 will do a fine job from the future point of view but if you are interested in playing old games which BTW the 760 can handle anyway the Intel will be better.Save your $100 which you...
