I just bought a new computer and everything is installing on my SSD drive (system C). I have redirected my downloads on firefox to my HDD (data E) but it's still installing on my SSD? Can anyone tell me how to install or move the files onto my HDD? Thanks. Btw I'm not too good with computers as you have probably figured out ;)

Most installation programs ask where to install but most users just ignore that step. Default location is c:\program files (x86) or c:\program files. If you installed a program on C you should uninstall it and then install it on the other drive. If the files you want to move are not program files you could just move them.

Thanks for the help. I uninstalled Steam just then and changed the download settings on firefox to this location, E:\Cam DOCS\My DESKTOP but still downloads onto my C drive?? When I open up the E drive it only has the steam setup. Should I change the download location to something else?

Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated.

I have also changed the download location of my Firefox installation and have no such problem. Are you sure you have changed the location. It is in the first General tab of the Firefox settings. The label is "Save files to". I assume you use the latest Firefox version and the folder exists.

Yeah it's 100% going to the E drive but not working. I'll call up the place where I bought it from and ask them what's going on. Thanks again for your help.
