(Sry about my English)
Hello people, im newbie and just got a new PC:

  • CPU --> AMD FX 8350 - 8 Core & 4Ghz
    GPU --> MSI TwinFroz GTX 760
    Ram --> 4GB - HyperX Fury 1600Mhz
    MB --> Asrock 990FX Extreme 3

Some times when I'm playing my PC, time to time (~5 minutes) lags (~15-25 Fps) and is not about the games because my pc gots the Reqs to play it nicely. I got more 4GB of Ram coming maybe tomorrow.
Can this be some bad drivers? I don't know. :/
I also have mu GPU connected with a 6 pin to 2x4 Pin for PSU (Click here for image)

Please help me, and Thanks in advance!

Solution
Well the GTX 760 has a temperature max of 97c ,however, in my opinion 85c is absolute max temp that I would sustain on my card at any given time, so 83c is OK, but not optimal.

Yea, I think tomorrow we can see if that is the problem. :) I just hope that is! Thanks

Ok, then: Hard drives size and age, how full are they?

Also post me some screenshots of your 3D settings.

Which programs are starting with your PC? Start -> run -> msconfig -> "Start"-pane. Try disabling all start programs including anti-virus programs(i suggest pulling the internet cable or disabling wi-fi when doing this) see if you still have problems.

All looks fairly normal, my main gripe is that old MAXTOR HDD, it is past its prime, how full is it? Has it been defragmented regularly?

Also, if you're playing Watch Dogs, getting those low FPS from time to time is normal as that game a has a propensity for Vram overload. xD

You might want to try disabling Avast Anti-Virus going OFFLINE and try playing without that, your old HDD might be having trouble keeping up.

Well, requested IO's for that poor crowded HDD will take a long time to fulfill.

If you're willing to try an experiment, go to advanced system settings -> performance -> settings -> virtual memory since you're on Win 8 I'm not entirely sure if it's located in the same place, nonetheless, try setting no pagefile or user defined as 16MB-16MB.

See if that helps. I'm pretty sure the culprit is your HDD.

After trying set it back to system defined.

Ok, how long between the frame drops? Is it consistent? Always after a certain amount of time and for how long does the low fps last?

If you can open resourcemonitor in task manager and keep and eye on disk and CPU tabs see if anything starts peaking above normal.

No idea what would cause your problem atm. I have two things that it might be, but I highly doubt it.

1. Your GFX card in 3D settings "Power Management Mode" : Adaptive. Try Prefer Maximum performance.

2. In Power settings/Power control the one which controls when your HDD's go to sleep, try setting them to "never".

I'm pretty stumped to be honest and for a while I was just thinking that maybe your GFX is just not that great, but it's a 760 it should do fine in LoL. D:
