hi I was wondering if this cpu with a piar or radeon 280x playing in 4k monitor
I was wondering if my first gen core i7 920 would be a bottleneck for 4k gaming and them 2 cards crossfired?

also would a cooler master real power pro 650 -60amps be enough power for crossfire 280x

The first gen I7s still kick ass. Maybe at the stock 2.66 ghz it might, but if you oc it then I've read that it wont even bottleneck a titan much. I'm sure the oc gurus on here will be able to give you more details as I never oc. But I'm willing to bet that the 920 at a higher clock speed will handle them fine.

For some reason I didnt even catch the 4k part. I just saw him asking if a 920 would choke a pair of 280x. Yea a pair of 280 probably wont do 4k well.

280x and yes I want to crossfire them for 4k gaming and wondered if the i7 920 if itll be a bottcle neck clocked at 3.4ghz

also would a 650watt realpower pro 60amps be enough power for 2 radeon 280x for say 3months

I'm not sure. Have you purchased the 280x yet? If not, I suggest that you dump three 780Tis in SLI to get basic performance but the best option is to SLI two Titans or use one single Titan Z. Going 4K is a pretty pricy option though, I suggest you use 3 1080P displays instead of moving up to 4K since it would provide a more immersive experience.

Hope this helps ;)
