My wireless connection won't work. When I scroll over the wireless icon on my desktop it says: "Not connected - no connections are available"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless device and am still experiencing the same problem

Thanks in advance

Sounds as though there's a physical switch somewhere or perhaps one of the Function keys to be used in conjunction with the Fn key to the left of your spacebar. Try to find the maker's handbook online to see where the switch is hidden - sometimes it's a tiny slider on the front or side.
