"I wanna know if my rig will support this GPU"

The AMD Phenom ll is a CPU, not a GPU, I guess you just pressed the wrong key.

Yes, it's supported on that ASUS motherboard model, but the board's BIOS version must be 1012 or higher:

If the BIOS version is lower than 1012, you must install a supported processor temporarily to perform the necessary BIOS update.

The Asus AMD/ATI RADEON R9 270X DIRECTCU II TOP OC 2 GB DDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card should be fully backward compatible with the ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 motherboard's PCIe 2.0 x16 Expansion Slot.

Make sure your power supply unit (i.e. SMPS) has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Will these PSU work for the GPU

1. http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-eco-500-watts-psu/p/it...

2. http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-s12ii-430-watts-psu/p/...

Also since my PCI e slot is 2.0..will it affect the performance of the graphic card?

Seasonic S12II-430 Bronze (SS-430GB)
• OEM: Seasonic
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps
one 6-pin and one (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Modular Output Cables: No
• Intel Haswell Compliance: No
• 80 PLUS BRONZE Efficiency Certification (Ecos ID #: 1240, Test Date: 1/9/2009)
• 3 Year Limited Warranty

Seasonic ECO 500 (SS-500BT) <=== This one gives you a little more spare capacity.
• OEM: Seasonic
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 34 Amps
two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Modular Output Cables: No
• Intel Haswell Compliance: No
• 80 PLUS BRONZE Efficiency Certification (Ecos ID #: 1346.1, Test Date: 3/10/2009)
• 3 Year Limited Warranty

The fact that your motherboard has a PCIe 2.0 slot doesn't result in a perceptible performance difference from a motherboard that has a PCIe 3.0 slot since any difference, if there is any based on the game or application, is below 5%.

Okay so are both the PSUs compatible for the asus r9 270x...???

And oh okay then thanks..i was worried about that 2.0 would reduce the performance of my card...

Go with the Seasonic ECO 500 (SS-500BT).
