Does a computer get slower if downloading many games on it?

I want to now if my or any other computer will get slower if downloading many games? Does it in some way make the system slower? Will it get it back to normal speed if deleting all the games? If i just downloaded a game and delete it again, will there the be no difference?

A Windows PC gets slower when the system hard drive free space gets very low, since this free space is used for 'virtual memory' where data is 'swapped' in and out of RAM.

Also gets slower as the data becomes more fragmented, as it then takes longer for the drive to find a specific file, and longer to find some free space to write new data.

So if having low space back on the computer games might begin lagging or? But if there are like a little under half space left it doesnt do anything to have a lot of games installed or?
