Help choosing CPU and RAM for new build

Hi, I am building a new PC, mainly for gaming. I am having trouble deciding on a CPU.

Should I get either i5 4570, i5 4670k, or i5 4690.

The i5 4670k is the most expensive and I'm not sure if I will OC or not, so not sure if there's much point getting the 4670k over the non K 4690 (which is £7 cheaper). Or if it I will be fine just getting the cheaper i5 4570 (which is £47 cheaper).

I will be using MSI Z97M-G43 motherboard, link below

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-z97m-g43-intel-z97-s...

and a R9 290 graphics card

Also I was thinking of getting some corsair vengeance 2133mhz RAM. Will I be ok tweaking the settings to get this memory to 2133mhz without OCing the CPU? Or just get 1600mhz RAM instead?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Here's an idea for you. Get slower RAM, since in most Benchmarks the effect of Faster RAM is negligible and use that savings towards getting the best processor you can. For me the £7 between the non-K and K is really not an issue. The £47 is only slightly more of an issue since you will get a modest speed bump.

As for the RAM, get 1866 at the most, especially if you're not planning to overclock. Anything more is wasted money.

CL8 1600Mhz ram will suit your needs, a H97 mobo since you won't be overclocking and the i5 4670.

Thanks for the help guys, greatly appreciated! I've decided I might as well think to the future and that I may want to overclock to get more out of the machine. I've been looking around and decided to get a i5 4690k and a z series mobo.

Thanks for the help though!
