So I am currently overclocking my 3570K, because DayZ and Arma 3 performance isn't great. I am wondering if 1.080V is okay with 4ghz, my aim is 4.2ghz, would I be able to do 4.2 on 0.005 offset?

Solution
4Ghz with only 1.080v ? Dayum~ Is it fully stable?
You could try getting it to 4.2Ghz with that little push in the vcore, run stress test for stability.

I'm currently running 4.2GHz on prime95 with 70C on the temperature. Voltage is 1.098 on the core. I've been running it the past 40 minutes and it's been stable so far.

Update: The temperature is at 78-80c now on prime95, since no game will stress the CPU like prime95 does should I worry about that? Temperaturs will be lower obviously in game.

Update: Temperature is now back to 68-70c..

Some people say a 12~24 hours run test is good to rule out any possible unstabilities in the system, But I think two hours is more than enough.

That is because the 4790k runs at 4Ghz from stock. The 3570 runs at 3.4Ghz from stock, so he has it overclocked by 800Mhz
