You don't plan to overclock, right?

Changed Xeon to cheaper and better i5
2x4gb is better than 1x8gb
Cheaper HDD
GTX 770 -> R9 290
Cheaper and better case
Better PSU
Cheaper optical drive
Windows 7 does not support DirectX 11.2, so I changed it to Windows 8.1.
I didn't change your peripherals.

okay so i have now two pc builds one with xeon (no overclocking possibility) and one with i5 (could be overclocked later if i buy cpu cooler)
the i5 build:

xeon build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hvppzy

in both builds i choose 2 140mm fans for airflow like this: http://www.legitreviews.com/images/reviews/1755/500R_airflow.jpg

i'm trying for blue-white-black color combination (i have blue mouse and keyboard + case fans)
i think it's gonna look awesome:D

soooo.. which build should i get? xeon or i5

final setup: (i'll buy all of those parts at hardwarevedsand.de, and my budget is 1200€)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HDVTpg

i read a looot of forums and the xeon is the right for me:)
so i decided to get xeon e3 1231 v3 - its faster than 1230 :) i5 is a bit better in gaming but in all other the xeon wins:)
i think that there won't be no need to overclock
olmost all parts are blue or black ( only motherboard and gpu are yellow-.-)
i think this will easly perform all games on ultra
which gpu should i go for: sapphire r9 290 tri-x or gigabyte r9 290 windforce ?
i have only wifi router and laptop in my room, so should i buy anything else for new pc like for internet.. any cables?

any critique? :D
