I also have another 2 fans connected to my h100i connected to the mobo.

Running fans full speed all the time may cause a very small decrease in runtime, but it will not be enough to worry about.

People have run fans full speed for years.

3-pin fan control depends on your board.

If it can do voltage control then 3 pin fans work fine. If it has ONLY pwm then the fan will run full speed all the time.

Some boards despite having 4 pin case fan headers will still use voltage control.

The manual(Chapter 1 page 42) indicates that your boards CPU/CHA_FAN1/CHA_FAN2/CHA_FAN3 headers can do voltage control.

CPU_OPT does not list much, but I think it may be tied to the CPU fan header.

The cpu and cpu_opt should do either voltage or PWM depending on what the board detects(has a little switch that can tell when a 4 pin fan is plugged into the cpu header).

Okay thank your, but remember i got 7 fans. And i heard that putting 3 ore more fans to your mobo is really bad is that true? what would u recommend me to do. Connect all 7 fans to my psu with that from a 4-Pin to 6 x 3-Pin Fan Splitter , or connect all 7 fans to my mobo using splitters. Either way im gonna want to have all fans at high speed.

If you want all fans at full speed, just use the power supply.

If you wanted speed control you could place 2 per header on most boards without issues(so 6 on system headers and one on the cpu header). Your fans are only 0.15 amps and most boards are good for upto 1amp. I would recommend staying under about 0.5 just to allow for start up current.

The H100i manages its own fans.

Okay do you know any good splitters out there to put 2 fans on 1 mobo header.

They are all the same basic thing. Just note that some link the speed sense wire.

I do not think this causes any damage, but may effect speed monitoring. Clearly the headers are made to ONLY see the speed from a single fan each.
