I'm building a PC, that will be used for Gaming, emulating and a bit of video editing
Original build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VP4jBm

As you see, the Graphics card I chose was the GTX 780, which is quite pricey, today I found a Second Hand PC component site which sells, 2 second hand AMD r9 280x cards (+cables and warranty) for a bit less than the GTX 780.

Is this worth the buy? will 2-way Crossfire work better?

Oh, forgot to mention that, with the spare money I'll have from buying these two cards I'll be able to get a better PSU.

What is a mined card?

I also forgot to mention I'm planning to be using the PC for multiple monitors.

The one i linked earlier is the previous revision.
I edited to the newer version which cost the same.
I put it here again.

But I mean, is it worth it? is it worth getting more noise and power to get that improvement?

I haven't bought the monitors yet, but a rough plan is to buy a big monitor, like a 27'', place it in the middle, then buy two smaller monitors, that their width matches the big monitor's height, and tilt them 90 degrees.
