i buy this 2 days ago, everything was ok, but i've got one problem about PWM fan, smart fan control on BIOS is not work, when cpu idle/load, my cpu fan not go higher or lower, all i can do is set my pwm fan to speedup fan rpm manually (i prefer 1700rpm and it stay on 1700 rpm when idle or load state)

this is very annoying to brand new mobo like this, my Cooler Master seidon 120XL work perferctly in my old mobo, Gigabye 78LMT s2p. never had this issue Before.

i connect 2 pwm fan to CPU fan header Via Y splitter as before.
and pump to Sysfan1 (4 pin ) and try to swap this to other (3 Pin )

Result still same. fan speed, not going up /lower depend on CPU load.

Here's the screenshoot from HWmonitor

Any help will be appreciated,

Solution
I bought this mobo two days ago and also have some problems with fans.

1) Settings in MSI Control app or BIOS does not allow to set fan speeds under 12,5% (CPU fan) and 50% (system fans) - imho there is no pointy for fans to rotate and make noise if cpu/system temperatures are about 35°C.
2) Fan speed readings are strange - BIOS&app report 0 but fan is actually rotating -
3) Is set higher than 25%, bios reports ridiculouslty high RPS on CPU fan - (about 3500, however, max rps of the fan are about 2000)
4) Totally unable to control speeds for system fan 3 and 4
5) It is not clear (from BIOS settings nor control app) what temperature are system fan speeds linked - system or CPU?
6) Unable to control fans via other applications like...

I tried to enable/disable some features in bios (like Cool&Quiet) but have not succeeded to set up fan speeds properly.

I am sure that my fans are OK - i just pulled them out of my 7 years old ASUS mobo - they worked there perfectly.

Hopefully there will be BIOS update soon that solves this anoyng problem (besides that, mobo is great)

fyi they do power the fans but i have no control over them what so ever, im tempted to run a splitter off of fans 1 and 2 and try to control them through the corsair link app which i use with my h100i

How do you use Corsair Link to change fan RPM?

If you download MSI command center you can set your fan speeds a little but there is a trick to getting them the way you want. I cant take credit for this but i read it somewhere or watched a video on it. Open up MSI Command Center. go to the fan controls set to manual first one is CPU fan but if you select system fan it gives you Fan 1 & Fan 2. select manual for those select the dial to 50% Save you selection. Note where you saved that selection open that file up with note pad then you will get some selections like this.http:// ........>>>>>> ok from there you set the fan speed to what ever you want 10 , 15 , 20 exc save it after you done entering the value and then open up MSI Command Center again and load the program. It should be fixed now.
