Range extention confusion

Hello friends,
I want your help on extending the coverage of my wireless network.I want the main router to be 300 Mbps and I want to retain the speed while extending it by upto a Kilometer.So I need to use a number of Range Extenders in the middle as I have a home midway where I want to setup an AP for covering the whole home.Now I studid a bit and got to know about WDS.Several cheap 300Mbps routers now provide WDS function on it.From my understanding WDS or repeater halves the speed as they use the same channel.Is it correct?
There is dedicated range extenders like TP-LINK 830RE.Do they extend the network at 300Mbps or they halves the speed too?

They all have that problem unless you use different radios. Getting 300m means you must get 2 overlapping mimo signal to function correctly when you run a repeater you are now transmitting 2 pairs of overlapping signal so the interference and signal loss is even more.

So you if you look around you can find repeaters like hawkingtech haw2r1 that has 2 radios. There are a number of others.
Still you have a larger issue. When you want to go the distance you are you are likely going to have to use outdoor directional equipment. These are normally point to point bridge units. You can of course build them into repeaters by hooking AP. Hard to say exactly what you should use with a extra location in the middle. 2 pair of something...

You will need clear line of sight with no trees or building inbetween.
