Hey everyone, I'm on my first computer build and I'm curious on how using both an SSD and an HDD works. I want to use my computer for watching videos and gaming, so can you put your OS and games and gaming programs on the SSD and your other files like music and random files on the HDD?

This is my build so far, any suggestions?

You can put OS and some games you play often on the SSD. You can install programs onto the HDD but remember to uninstall it if you plan to reinstall windows. For files, documents and videos you can put it on the HDD.
Spend a bit more on the power supply:

You can put your OS and games on the SSD if you have the extra space. I would at least get a 250GB SSD if you plan on putting some games on it because newer games can be very big.

Install Windows, basic programs, W8 apps, and drivers onto the SSD. Then install everything else on the HDD. You can even move OneDrive directories to the HDD if you want to if you need to save up space on the SSD.
