Hi all,

I'm in a quandary. I've always fancied trying my hand and building a pc but, for one reason or another, never have. The problem is now I have limited funds, space and time, all due to having children! As I'm in a small house it would have to be a htpc/semi-gaming rig connected up to my 37" hd ready TV (which I'm in no rush to replace) which already has a ps3 connected.
As I said, I'd only really get to use it a couple of times a week (at best!) so can't justify spending a lot of money and have knocked up what I think is a decent enough rig. I don't really expect it to be a blisteringly fast machine, I don't need the visuals to be ps4 level although cos I'd be running everything at 720p I'm guessing settings and fps can be increased.
Other then are the parts ok my main question is is it worth it? I don't get to game that often anyway but the pricing on pc games just seems so much easier to digest. I think it's £3.65 for tomb raider at the moment and if I play that for a couple of weeks that seems a bargain to me.

Just not sure if I should part with my cash or put up with my ps3. If there is no difference other then better priced games then I'm not sure it's worth it.
