So I recently bought an Nvidia GT610 to replace my ATI (or AMD) Radeon 3450. When I uninstalled the drivers for my ATI Radeon 3450, and then once I popped in my new graphics card, it black screened! I do not know what I am doing wrong still so some help would be nice!

Is the card sat securely in the PCIe x16 slot? Are the power connectors firmly attached? Is the monitor cable securely attached to the card and the monitor, with no dust on the connectors?

Yes, it is on the PCIe x16 slot securely as it does not want to come off. The card does not have a power connector on it like other graphics cards, and it is securely attached to the card. (My old ATI Radeon 3450 still works when putting it back it and instead registers as a standard VGA adapter card, but the new GT 610 still does not work when it is on.)

As Thelps said, you must make sure if the card has fixed firmly into the slot. Make sure to insert it in a single try i.e, do not slide a part of the chip into the slot; get everything inside at first place.

Would the click of the PCIe x16 slot mean that the card is fully in place? (Sorry, kinda new to this)

You would hear the clicking sound after its fully fixed but that doesn't mean that card is properly seated. What I try to say is, insert the whole chip inside the slot and get the clicking sound. Pushing a part of the graphics card chip into the slot first and then budging the other side of the card in the same slot is not a proper manner of inserting a graphics card. Hope I made sense.

Also, after inserting the card, do not forget to LOAD OPTIMIZED DEFAULTS in BIOS. I believe that you are able to view your BIOS, aren't you?

Ok. Also, I can load the BIOS with the old graphics card, but not the GT 610.
