my mobo only has a sata600 and sata150 connection and im wondering if a sata III will work for me

Solution
"my mobo only has a sata600 and sata150"

SATA 600 is the more commonly-used name for SATA III, they are the same thing.

SATA 150 = SATA (first generation)
SATA 300 = SATA II
SATA 600 = SATA III

In any case, a SATA III drive will work on a SATA or a SATA II port, but drive performance will be slower (dictated by the port spec).
