The viewing angles and image qualities are very much better in IPS Panel monitors than in TN panel monitors.. But TN monitors have faster response times than any IPS monitors.. Faster response is very important in twitch/fps games. Whatever the resolution is, the IPS panels always provide better image qualities than TN panel for same resolution..

But the G-Sync monitors always synchronize the GPU's frame render rate with your monitor refresh rates and provide superior smoother game play at all instants than the other monitors.. If you're the kind of guy who always watches movies or play games by sitting right in front of the monitor, TN panel will be your choice... But for watching/viewing the monitors from different angles without color shift, you need a IPS monitor.. I prefer gaming in faster TN panel monitors and whi;le watching movies, connect it to a HDTV.. So, the choice is yours..

However, the best monitors for gaming will be THE G-SYNC MONITORS..

Thank you very much! I think ill go for the asus rog swift pg278q, 144hz because the gsync feature seems to increase the framerate for more stable playing (i.e. A higher fps version of vsync).
