beginner PC gamer needs help adjusting to mouse and keyboard

Before we start here are my PC Specs:

Case: CM Elite 130
PSU: Corsair CX600M
Mobo: Gigabyte GA Z97N Wifi
RAM: 8 GB ADATA memory
CPU: Celoron G1820 (Don't worry this is a place holder until my I5-4590 Comes in)
GPU: PNY GT 610 (another place holder my next card will be the Gigabyte windforce R9 280x)
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1TB

Now for the subject, I need help adjusting to mouse and keyboard i tried just playing and hoping that i adjust but that doesn't seem to be working.

If your saying that your coming from consoles and have a hard time switching to mouse and keyboard, I was in the same dilemma as you as well. What helped me was learning "letter positions" (basically where the keys are located) games like LoL teach you good "basic" hot keying . Would also look at adjusting mouse sensitivity to fit you. I started at low sensitivity, but am playing at the highest preset for my mouse now.

play single player till you feel comfortable.

Play Half Life 1. Try shooting the headcrabs. Very good training for the mouse. And there's also the crouch jump
