Intel 4690k or 4670K? I will be doing some minor overclocking, nothing too serious, but will be gaming and multimedia stuff. I was thinking the 4670k would be better since it is cheaper, and I can just overclock it to be faster

Solution
If the price difference is ~5-10$, probably better to go with the 4690k. If its more than that, go with the 4670k. The 4690k does have better TIM over the 4670k. It should overclock a little better and have better thermals.

I think either one would do fine.
Both are very good. If you are big into overclocking, then the i5-4690K is much better. It has an improved TIM and less heat issues when overclocking. It can handle higher overclocks much easier than the i5-4670K.

That said, both choices are very good. Pick whichever floats your boat.

Perhaps you ought to read about them a bit if you want to make a good choice for your needs. The 4690k was made for a reason and is the better CPU of the 2. If those improvements are not worth the extra cost to you then get the other for cheaper.
