help with connecting controllers

I'm planning on building my first pc, and I was wondering if I can connect my wireless xbox controller to the pc when I get it, I've heard you need a usb receiver, but I i'm also wondering if I buy another controller, but if I buy the pc version of the xbox wireless, will I get this receiver with it and will I be able to connect both controllers after.

Yeah it should come with the controller, won't see why not. Also, you can have as many controllers as you want, as long as you have USB ports available (they normally connect via USB).
