Why are my temps so different?

After about 15 min running prime95 CPU only not blend

The farthest window back is showing CPU temp and not core temp. as well as Mobo temp. just to be clear

Try Core Temp, most accurate core readings you can get, shows temps of each core rather than the CPU as a whole

ok i had to be installing and using something with a similar name. i just did the coretemp and it seems to be shoing a temp read out. so i will watch that with prime95 thank you. the some other temp program i was looking at wasn't showing a temp at all and i swore it was coretemp. but it seems to be working thanks man

You could also try Speedfan, I wouldnt say its as good as coretemp, but the temps match alongside, also it shows NB temps which can be handy

Hey thanks again guys. I dont know about speedfan, read a few forums that didnt have much good to say about it. That's why you said "not as good." I am running prime95 now running pretty cool from what i can tell with full load. I'll add some pictures of the coretemp, temps to the main post. Also i would like to point out if it is not already crystal clear I am new to actually monitoring my system. I am wanting to get into overclocking but first want to make sure i have all the info and have a good idea about what i'm doing before i actually do it. Again thank you all for your help.

Core temp is useless for monitoring APU thermals.
