hey everyone I am having a hard time picking water cooling or air cooling. I am building a new rig and will be overclocking it, but don't plan on going for any records. the basic system is:

CPU: i7 4790k
Mobo: ASUS Z97 Maximus VII Hero
MEM: G.skill tridents 2x8 2133 CL9-11-11-31
GPU: EVGA GTX 780ti classified
Storage: Samsung ssd EVO 500GB
PSU: Antec gamer HCG-900, 900 watt
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 144mhz
Case: most likely cool master, model depends on what cooling I go with.

what I am most concerned about is the longevity of liquid cooling. whether its the pump breaking, tubing coming apart, ect ect. how long can I expect a liquid cooling system to last? 5+ years or??

Depending on the model of liquid cooler i be seem many h100i's going for 2-3 years and still going. Liquid is a lot better than air. Liquid also take a lot less space over the CPU which is nice if you don't intend to use low profile modules

Depends on your budget. Looking at your system specs then it looks like a higher end system. So I would go with a closed loop cooler from Corsair/Coolermaster Like the h100i or Seidon 240L

it really depends which one you get the h100s can be load it all depends on the fans you have, i personaly would go with the NH-14d or 15d they are aircoolers that are cheaper than the most Closed loop coolers and then performe just as well.
