Copied my HDD (N:\) to new SSD
Changed HDD drive letter for BAK
MB began to BSOD
(USB issues, new MB)
Flailing to recover resulted in:
HDD = N:\
SSD = C:\
SSD boots to a temporary profile (because the registry is full of N:\ ?)

Is there a simple solution which will boot & allow modification of both drives' / volume letters?

I tried several utilities, in the end I think it was Macrium that got the job done,
though I'm not %100 sure
- life in a foreign language + parenthood has negatively impacted my IT short-term memory...

Afterwhich I simply gave the HDD to another letter
& everything was happy,
until repeated crashing corrupted boot files
& I followed sloppy recovery practices,
result is SSD now = C:\
