Hello people who probably know a bit more about computers than I do,

So I earned a lot of money (for me it's a lot, I'm 17) and it was my birthday a few days ago, and I want to build my own pc. I have thought about what I want for about 6 months, and I ended up with this set of components. My friends got me into pc gaming and I also want to record with them for youtube. The primary uses of this pc will be gaming, recording, editing and uploading to youtube, and I was wondering if there is anything wrong with my setup before I spend 1032 euros on it. I'm not looking for part advice, since I've been thinking about the parts for 6 months, but I would like to know if everything will work. Also don't worry about the ssd, casefans and cpu cooler, I'll get them when I get my next paycheck in about two weeks.

Link to my build (Dutch site, I am DutchGamer after all, hope that won't be a problem): http://azerty.nl/winkelmandje/winkelmandje/?legen=1&product%5B683538%5D=1&product%5B649182%5D=1&product%5B678321%5D=1&product%5B620716%5D=1&product%5B624147%5D=1&product%5B582388%5D=1&product%5B561075%5D=1&product%5B629110%5D=1&product%5B568286%5D=1&product%5B562705%5D=1&product%5B715655%5D=1&product%5B552064%5D=1&product%5B685824%5D=1

Thank you in advance,
Sincerely, DutchGamer

it will all work just fine, but there are 2 things you might want to consider. first, you have a WD Green hdd, and unless you are trying to be power efficient, theres no reason not to get a WD blue drive. also, that psu is tier 3 http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html and, if you can where you live, try to get a psu from a higher tier. other than that, i have no critique :)

Forgot to say that I would like to play modded minecraft on high settings with shaders and run a minecraft server at the same time, I would like to play BF4 on Ultra (40 fps is good nuff for me, I'm used to ps3), Rome: Total War 2 on high settings and a few steam games which any prehistoric pc can run. Will this pc be able to do that while recording? Thank you in advance, again, I'd really appreciate an answer

it can do that all just fine, except maybe the bf4. if you want to play it on ultra 40+ fps while recording, you might want to get a stronger gpu, like the 290, which you can do be downgrading to an i5, however, that may impact your video editing. up to you whats more important, gaming, or video editing.

I was under the impression Corsair only made really good stuff, but thank you. Also I think I'm gonna stick with the green hdd, because the blue isn't available in 2 tb in this store, and getting it from another store will mean I'll have to pay more shipping costs (it won't go by boat, but I don't know what it's called when it goes by truck :p). The green hdd will be cheaper for me and if I help the environment by using it I guess that's a good thing :p. I'll look into the psu's, and thank you.

alrighty, sounds good, the green hdd isnt that much slower, so if you cant get a blue without lots of fees, thats fine. and for the psu, the corsair CX series will be OK if you keep them cool and dont stress them, but they wont last quite aslong as tier 2b and up psu's.

Since BF4 on ps3 is 30 fps on super low quality, i think i will be able to manage on high or medium settings, but do you happen to know the difference between i5 4690 and i7 4790 for multitasking and editing? A lot of sites try to answer this question but not a single one says a number or a percentage in performance increase/decrease

well, the reason none give an exact number is because there isnt one. it depends on the program, how you are using it, etc. the main difference between the i5 and i7 for video editing is the i7 has hyperthreading, so it has 8 threads, and it has more cache. a great option for you IF you can get one where you live for cheaper than the i7 4790, is a Xeon E-3 1230 V3. it is almost identical to an i7 4770 but without the igpu, but much cheaper.

I think I'll do that, and that way I can use the 40 euros on a better psu with a higher wattage, and I'll save up for a second r9 280. Is my mobo good enough for solid CFX?

Is the Intel Xeon E3-1231V3 also an option? because I think the 0.1 GHz higher clock speed is worth the 9 extra euros
