I built a PC about a week ago and it has all worked fine, but I was using it earlier today and it suddenly shut down and then rebooted itself and shut down again. Now whenever I press the power button it turns on for a few seconds and then shuts down. Anyone have a fix?

Most likely you have a short of some kind .
The first thing to check is to disconnect the power and reset buttons from the motherboard
and see if it starts and stays on when you momentarily touch the tip of a screwdriver on the power switch pins to short them together .
