Good Gaming Monitor?

Would the Acer GN246HL be a good gaming Monitor. Not only that but would it be good for watching movies, and are the colors, considering it's a TN panel, accurate and or comparable to an ips model. I'm open to other suggestions as long as they are in the price range of $250

Take a look at the VG248QE, toms hardware did a review on it and said the colors out of the box were great, i absolutely love mine, IMO Asus is a better mfg for monitors than Acer.

sorry for the delayed response. I think the colors look great. I have not found anything I don't like about this monitor yet. the first time I played BF4 on this monitor I could instantly see/feel a difference in the gameplay. they are so much better than my last TN panel monitor. also here is a link you the toms hardware review, they talk about the colors and what they think. but like I said I think the colors are great, I didn't have to change anything out of the box.
