Hello, I build a computer a couple days ago, and when i booted it up, everything was fine, set up windows 8.1, made an account and all was good. Then when I turn it on to install some games on it, I find that the keyboard and mouse aren't working. All the lights are on, but the keyboard and mouse isn't working. I even tried different keyboards and mice and they didn't work. They were all USB, so I don't know if it has to do with that, or something else. I typed this on my labtop so no comments saying "oh if your keyboard isn't working how are you typing this?" Please help me on this.

Try a different USB port or you may have to find and use a PS2 mouse and keyboard long enough to fix the usb issue. That's most likely the problem is a driver issue or a faulty usb port. Click on Start>Control panel>Device manager and see if anything has a Question mark or Exclamation point on it. If it does, let us know. We can probably help solve this for you.
