Hello,

I have a vaio duo 13 laptop UEFI(no legacy option on bios). I want to instal windows 8 to an external 128gb ssd. I've tried all options and advices found on google with no results. The external hdd doesn't want to book. It works with Ubuntu(grub's do the job). I've use it on a legacy bios before with no problems, but unfortunately I don't have this option now. (I've tried with secure boot and intel optimisation disabled with no luck). My last option is to convert the ssd to gpt and install it again(I'm working on it now). Can someone help me please?

Check this out : http://www.easyuefi.com/ or this: http://www.disk-partition.com/lib/wintogo.html

It works. I had a windows 8 pro installed to an USB 3 128 GB external hard drive. The problem is the UFEI bios. I've bough a new vaio duo 13 and I have no legacy option in my bios, only UFEI.

My hdd has been converted from MBR to GTP but still doesn't works...I really don't know what can I do...
Waiting for solutions...thanks
