im confused that every one around me upgrade their ram cards from 1333mhz to 1600mhz..i just want to know if there a vast difference in performance in those types of rams?is there a special benefit in 1600mhz rams over 1333mhz rams in gaming?(i have 1333mhz rams and i hope to build a new rig.should i get rid of my 1333mhz rams or should i keep them for my new rig?

The difference is that 1600mhz is faster than the 1333mhz RAM. If you're looking to upgrade I'd first check if you CPU/Mobo is compatible with this type of RAM. If it isn't it'll get underclocked ( basically lets say you buy 1600mhz but your CPU/mobo only supports 1333mhz, the RAM will run at 1333mhz instead of 1600 mhz )

For a Z97 or H97 mobo, get 2 x 4gb 1866 1.5v cl9 ram - best value at the moment.
